A View from the Window

What do we see when we look out of our windows?  Those daily scenes are the scenes we take for granted, but when we visit a new country or a new school we often see these as exotic.  Everything from seeing an electric socket which has 3 holes for the plug to a view of the sea outside our science block are new and novel for some of us.

In "a View From the Window" we took photos from our classroom windows, from the bus window on the way to school from our living room window. We photographed the usual and the mundane and then created a photo gallery of these to discover that those things we think of as being usual and mundane are interesting and strange to someone elses eyes. Below is a photo gallery of of our views.

This activity is accompanied by the magazine From Columbus to Atlantis in the view from the Window Edition.
